  3.           BEFORE YOU GET A LOOK AT HOW PC-STYLE WORKS . . .

  5.                PC-Style works very fast.   It reads a file at the rate
  6.           of 150 words per second.   That means it can analyze a 5,000
  7.           word document in a little over thirty seconds!
  8.  
  9.                The  demo you are about to watch will use three of  the
  10.           files from your program disk.   The ratings will vary.   The
  11.           file   that  gets  low  scores  is  the  copyright   notice.

  13.                The  copyright notice is lacking in personal words,  as
  14.           well  as action verbs.   The percentage of long words (i.e.,
  15.           words  with  three syllables or more)  is very  high.    The
  16.           average number of words per sentence is actually better than
  17.           one of the other files.   However, the readability score for
  18.           the  copyright  notice still rates less than the other  two.
  19.           That means it is the hardest to read of the three  files.

  21.                Now,  on to the demo.   Be sure your printer is on,  so
  22.           you can get a report for each file.
